Job Description

As Dining Room Supervisor with Creekside Continuing Care you'll be leading the front of the house staff and dining room service for all meals in a dynamic environment with new challenges every day. You will ensure meals are served in accordance with Cascade Living Group policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for assisting the Dining Services Director, ensuring that standards of dining service are consistently attained. What we look for in a

2 years relevant work experience required Willingness to train and learn new skills Food Workers Card or ServSafe Certification Experience and/or training in nutrition, food preparation, safe food handling techniques and food service management. Ability to hire, train and manage food service personnel and provide effective work direction. Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families Experience in nutrition, food preparation and safe food handling Strong customer service skills with ability to problem solve Ability to hire, train and provide leadership for Food and Dining personnel Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite as well as the ability to learn new applications Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner What you can expect to do as the
Dining Room Supervisor:
Supervise all dining service activities in the community's main dining room and potentially other eating areas Assist in the supervision of all service procedures, service timing and pick-up procedures Assist the Dining Services Director in the daily operation of the community's dining areas to meet or exceed hospitality and service standards Manage multiple priorities simultaneously Establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff Demonstrate organizational skills around time management Ensure cleanliness in both kitchen and dining room Ensure meals are prepared on time and served efficiently Evaluate employee performance and assume responsibility for recruiting, hiring and training new employees Promote the mission, values and beliefs of
