Tour Operations Coordinator (Travel Industry) Ritz tours - 4.3 Alhambra, CA Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Mandarin English Desktop applications Project task coordination Productivity software Full Job Description Position Overview Ritz Tours is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tour Operations Coordinator to join our team in Alhambra, California. This position focuses on the day-to-day operations of our international group tours, including reservations, supplier coordination, travel documentation, and communication with internal teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced travel environment. Previous experience in tour operations or the travel industry is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day operations for international group tours Handle hotel, transportation, restaurant, attraction, and other travel service reservations Communicate and follow up with overseas suppliers, hotels, tour guides, and local operators Prepare and organize tour documents, booking records, passenger information, and operational files Monitor booking deadlines, confirmations, payments, and supplier arrangements Coordinate with the sales team regarding passenger requests and special arrangements Assist with rooming lists, arrival/departure information, and other pre-departure preparations Follow up on operational issues and help ensure tours run smoothly Maintain accurate and organized records for each tour departure Provide general administrative and operational support as needed Requirements Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (required) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Responsible, dependable, and able to follow through on tasks Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable handling multiple tours, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer applications Previous experience in tour operations, travel agencies, hospitality, or tourism is preferred Willing to learn and able to work effectively as part of a team What We Offer Training and support provided Opportunity to develop a career in international tour operations Competitive compensation based on experience Stable, full-time position with an established travel company Friendly and professional working environment
