Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Cruise Travel Agent for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Tustin, CA. This role is ideal for a travel, hospitality, customer service, or sales professional who enjoys helping clients plan memorable cruise vacations, including international itineraries. The Cruise Travel Agent will work with customers by phone, email, and online to recommend cruise lines, destinations, cabins, excursions, packages, and travel options that align with each client's needs and budget. This opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule, base salary plus sales-based bonuses, international travel opportunities, and the potential for long-term growth. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with planning and booking cruise vacations, including international cruise itineraries, travel packages, excursions, and related services.
- Recommend cruise lines, destinations, cabins, upgrades, and travel options based on client preferences, schedules, budgets, and travel goals.
- Manage reservations, payments, booking changes, cancellations, travel documentation, and customer follow-up.
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the booking process to help ensure a smooth travel experience.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for additional sales, repeat bookings, and referrals.
- Stay current on cruise destinations, promotions, travel requirements, industry trends, and available travel products. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 to $62,400 per year.

- Plan and book domestic and international cruise vacations for customers.
- Manage cruise reservations, payments, documentation, changes, and cancellations.
- Recommend cruise packages, destinations, cabins, excursions, and travel options.
- Maintain customer relationships and support sales goals through consultative service.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred in travel, cruise sales, hospitality, customer service, or sales.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work professionally with customers by phone, email, and online.
- Excellent customer service skills with a consultative, relationship-focused approach.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple bookings and client needs.
- Ability to work independently while meeting sales and service expectations.
- Comfortable discussing travel options, promotions, pricing, itineraries, and documentation requirements.
- Passion for travel and the ability to confidently recommend and sell cruise vacation options. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cruise travel sales or travel agency experience.
- Experience booking international travel itineraries.
- Familiarity with cruise lines, cruise destinations, cabin categories, excursions, and travel packages.
- Proven ability to meet sales goals, build repeat customer relationships, and generate additional sales opportunities.
