Duties Portray a convincing and jolly Santa Claus with an authentic beard during live events at the Santa Monica Pier. Engage with visitors through lively conversations, storytelling, and crowd interaction to foster a joyful holiday atmosphere. Interact with children and families in a warm, friendly manner, ensuring everyone feels included and special. Job is also great for actors who are interested in steady gigwork! Maintain high energy levels throughout events, ensuring audience engagement and creating memorable holiday moments. Attend our mandatory, famous Santa trainings to learn all about what it means to be a Royal Santa Qualifications We want to hear about YOU! Do you have grandkids? Do you have a history of being Santa? Why do you think you could be Santa? You'll need a jolly spirit, clean background check, and a real bead. Not grey yet?--no problem! We'll happily bleach your beard and provide you with the suit! Pay Pay is $60 an hour. Employees are independent contractors (1099). Each day is usually around 12:30-7p, with plenty of breaks!
