We are currently seeking railbike crew members for limited weekday, weeknight and weekend hours starting ASAP! •Hours will be a combination of weekdays from 5-10pm and weekends from 9am-9pm (two separate shifts). Some hours could include weekdays between 9-12 (Wednesdays and Fridays). Railbiking is a fun, outdoor activity where guests ride pedal powered railcars along the railroad tracks for an outdoor adventure through open spaces. What you will be doing:

Leading groups of guests on railbike tours several times a day (ride up to 12 miles per shift) Helping check in/out guests Adjusting bikes and loading/unloading guests Providing safety instructions and directions to large groups of guests Cleaning and maintaining bikes several times a day Maintaining grounds around the station and along the railroad tracks Helping guests safely cross traffic while on tours (training provided and certificate mandatory) Turning railbikes around at the turnaround locations Merchandise sales Making hot chocolate, hot apple cider, and serving seasonal snacks Entertaining guests with fun and interactive games and information Cleaning station buildings, including bathrooms What we expect of you: Our crew will be friendly hosts to many guests of all ages throughout the day Our crew is able to maneuver 300lb rail equipment and individually lift a minimum of 50lbs Our crew loves the outdoors and exercise rain or shine Our crew will memorize fun local facts/history and share with guests on tours Our crew will be responsible, punctual, and hardworking Requirements for hire: Age 18+ Loves the outdoors People oriented Preferred Qualifications Tour/Excursion experience or desire to learn Basic bike mechanic/knowledge is a bonus Schedule 4-12hr shifts Weekday and Weekend availability, Mostly Wednesday-Sunday Closed Monday and Tuesday (unless for a private event) Rate Starting at $18 hr Advancement available with increased responsibilities
