1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Lead CT Technologist for a Radiology department, requiring at least 3 years of lead experience and ARRT CT certification. Details Radiology/Cardiology-Radiology department within a community hospital setting Serves adult and pediatric acute care, Emergency Department, and ICU patients Performs a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, chest, and vascular studies Utilizes GE equipment and PACS imaging systems Requires Epic charting experience within the last year Monday through Friday day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM 12-week contract length Includes rotational on-call responsibilities Requirements Active FL or compact RN license required (ARRT CT certification also required for this role) BLS certification required Minimum 3 years of experience as a lead CT Technologist Minimum 2 years of general CT experience required Community hospital experience required Trauma Level II and teaching hospital experience preferred Proficiency in image display and post-processing techniques (3D rendering, MPR, ROI measurement) Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media Experience with peripheral IV starts and venipuncture Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE Epic charting experience required within the past year Additional Information Serves as Lead CT Technologist for the South campus, overseeing daily operations and staff support Must complete a pass/fail Epic competency test prior to starting, which can only be attempted once No formal Epic training will be provided due to facility system transition Candidates must apply only for their preferred shift, as shift changes will not be accommodated Start dates are fixed and cannot be adjusted Local candidates are not accepted for this role Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility Previous employees must have a break in service of at least one year before reapplying Block scheduling and shorter contract lengths will not be accommodated
