Job Overview Are you passionate about sharing stories, exploring new places, and creating memorable experiences for diverse audiences? We are seeking an energetic and engaging Tour Guide to lead groups through exciting destinations, providing insightful commentary and ensuring every guest has enjoyable experience. Responsibilities Lead tour groups confidently throughout the Myrtles Historic home. Deliver engaging and informative narration using effective storytelling techniques to enhance the guest experience. Manage tour group logistics, including coordinating schedules, maintaining time management, and adapting plans as needed for weather or other conditions. Build rapport with guests by actively listening, addressing questions, and providing personalized attention to foster a welcoming atmosphere. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, including managing tour group sizes and handling unexpected challenges professionally.
Skills:
Strong public speaking and presentation skills to captivate audiences during tours. Proven experience in tour guiding Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse groups of guests. Leadership qualities with experience in tour group management and teaching others about local history, culture, or nature. Knowledge of tour storytelling techniques that make each journey engaging and memorable. Effective time management skills to keep tours on schedule without compromising quality or safety. Outstanding communication skills that facilitate clear instructions and lively narration throughout the tour experience.
Pay:
$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
