Job Description

Overview Join our growing team as a Tour Guide and become the face of unforgettable experiences! In this role, you will lead groups through Glacier National Park and surrounding National Forest Areas, sharing the history and insights that make this area so special. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire curiosity, foster connections, and ensure every guest leaves with lasting memories. This position offers a unique opportunity to showcase your leadership skills while immersing visitors in enriching adventures across diverse locations. Duties Responsibilities Lead guided biking tours, hiking tours, and scenic driving tours Share knowledge about local wildlife, plant life, geology, and regional history Ensure guest safety and positive experiences Load and transport guests & gear to tour locations, ranging anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours one-way Drive company van and trailer to trailheads Requirements A positive and upbeat attitude Knowledge of Glacier National Park and surrounding areas Active Wilderness First Aid (WFA) or Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification Active CPR certification Strong interpersonal and communication skills; bonus if bilingual/multilingual Ability to lift 50-85 lbs Clean driving record required Comfortable driving a large passenger van and trailer
Schedule Start:
End of June Seasonal position with possibility of extending Ideal Background Outdoor guiding, outdoor education, or backcountry experience Passion for the outdoors and sharing knowledge with others Lead guided tours for groups of varying sizes, ensuring an engaging and informative experience for all participants Share compelling stories, historical facts, and cultural insights to enhance guests' understanding and enjoyment Manage tour schedules efficiently, maintaining punctuality and smooth flow of activities Answer questions from guests with clarity and enthusiasm, fostering a welcoming environment Ensure the safety and comfort of all guests throughout the tour by adhering to safety protocols and addressing concerns promptly Coordinate with team members to prepare tour materials, manage logistics, and handle unexpected situations effectively Promote positive interactions by demonstrating excellent customer service, active listening, and clear communication skills Promote 'Leave-No-Trace' principles, ensuring a healthier tomorrow for our parks we recreate in

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
