Heritage Farm & Garden is seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, and customer-focused individuals to join our seasonal Fall Festival team as Hay Ride Tour Guides & Attendants . This role is much more than simply helping guests on and off the wagon. Our Hay Ride Tour Guides are the face of the experience, helping create memorable moments for families by sharing the story of Heritage Farm & Garden, engaging guests throughout the ride, and bringing our property to life through fun facts, farm history, seasonal storytelling, and interactive activities. Responsibilities Assist guests safely loading and unloading the hay ride wagon. Ride on the wagon during scheduled hay ride departures. Deliver an engaging and entertaining guided tour throughout the ride. Share information about Heritage Farm & Garden, including its history, farm operations, notable features, and seasonal attractions. Point out landmarks, gardens, growing areas, animals, and other points of interest along the route. Engage children and families through trivia questions, fun facts, and interactive conversation. Incorporate seasonal themes, storytelling, and age-appropriate spooky tales during Fall Festival operations. Maintain a welcoming, energetic, and family-friendly atmosphere. Monitor guest safety and communicate any concerns to management. Assist with crowd management and line organization between ride departures. Provide excellent customer service and answer guest questions throughout the day. Support overall Fall Festival operations as needed. Qualifications Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking to groups of all sizes. Strong communication and public speaking skills. Ability to entertain and engage both children and adults. Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, climb on and off wagons, and assist guests as needed. Previous experience in customer service, theater, education, camp counseling, tour guiding, or entertainment is a plus, but not required. Schedule & Availability This is a seasonal position supporting our Fall Festival operations. Candidates must be available to work weekends, holidays, and other peak event days.
