This opportunity is ideal for people who already have another job, profession, or personal commitment but have free mornings or afternoons and are looking to earn extra income . The Opportunity We are looking for someone who can bring New York City to life through stories, history, culture, movies, music, and American pop culture.

The role includes:

Conducting walking tours in New York City Telling engaging stories to guests Interacting with international travelers Creating photos and short videos during tours for social media Promoting additional tours or tickets when appropriate Representing Careri Entertainment professionally A passion for photography, videography, or social media is a strong plus. Who We Are Looking For You may be: A teacher with free mornings or afternoons A retired professional looking for an active and social opportunity A freelancer with a flexible schedule A hospitality professional A student with availability during the day A professional with a part-time or flexible job Someone simply looking for a meaningful way to earn extra income This is not a full-time position. During the busy season, reliable guides can receive a consistent number of tours and develop a regular source of extra income. Compensation $25 per hour Tips are an important part of total compensation. While never guaranteed, our guides typically receive consistent and solid gratuities from guests Additional bonuses and performance incentives may be available Additional commissions can be earned by promoting or selling extra tours and experiences Long-Term Collaboration This is an on-call independent contractor position , not an employer-employee position. We are particularly interested in people who want to work with us long term . We value reliability and consistency. Guides who perform well and are dependable can receive more opportunities and become regular members of our team. Our goal is not to constantly replace guides. We want to build a team of people we know, trust, and enjoy working with.
