Part-Time | Less than 20 Hours per Week | Flexible Availability Looking for a part-time position with a small weekly time commitment? The Westmoreland Museum of American Art is seeking a friendly and dependable Gallery Host to join our team and help enhance the experience for our visitors. This part-time position plays an important role in creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging experience for visitors while supporting day-to-day operations throughout the Museum. The position may also be cross-trained to provide coverage in the Museum Shop and Café Marchand, offering variety to work across several areas of the visitor experience. If you are looking for unique and inspiring work only a couple of days per week, this may be the opportunity for you. Specific days and hours will vary based on Museum operations, programs, events, and staffing needs. Candidates must have flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings as scheduled. HS Diploma/GED Enjoy working with people and providing excellent customer service. Friendly, approachable, dependable, and professional. Comfortable working in a public-facing environment and interacting with visitors of all ages and backgrounds. Willing and able to learn multiple areas of Museum operations. Previous customer service, hospitality, museum, or related experience is preferred but not required.
