This role is well suited for an established mid-career theatre consultant or theatre design professional who is interested in working with a highly competent and enthusiastic team of people on interesting and worthwhile projects of all scope and budget levels. This role may be filled at a Project Theatre Consultant or Senior Theatre Consultant level depending on the candidate's experience, skills, and demonstrated ability to operate independently. You will serve as a Project Manager and lead design contributor on a variety of theatre planning projects, leading and supervising the documentation of everything we work on, from conceptual room diagrams to theatrical lighting infrastructure and rigging and stage machinery systems design. Your work will start in planning phases and continue through construction and opening. You'll oversee team coordination, maintain strong client relationships, assist in preparing documentation and presentation materials, and guide successful project completion. At the Senior level, this role includes managing and leading design efforts for larger and more complex projects with increased autonomy and responsibility, developing new projects regularly, preparing proposals under Partner or Principal supervision, and providing guidance and mentorship to staff.
