1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager for a Women's Center (L&D) leadership role requiring a BSN and 5 years of RN experience with 2 years in management. Details Acute care setting within a Women's Center (Labor & Delivery) unit Director-level leadership role overseeing Women's Care operations Uses
EPIC EMR
system Primarily works Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts Department operates 24/7, requiring occasional evening or weekend availability for calls 40 hours per week Requirements Active WV or compact RN license required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required 5 years of RN experience with 2 years of management/leadership experience required BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications preferred Must provide a copy of unexpired driver's license for consideration Any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of consideration Additional Information Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing overall operations of nursing and patient care areas Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards across all patient age groups from infant to geriatric Maintains performance improvement activities and participates in CQI initiatives Assures competency of nursing personnel Assists with budget formulation and maintains efficient departmental operations Ensures compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local regulations and standards Must reside within a 100-mile radius of the facility
