Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, welcoming demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring presentation standards are met Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling procedures Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, drink options, and menu items based on guest preferences Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary needs or requests Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up stations or cleaning work areas Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in food handling and serving environments Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences!
