Duties Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring prompt service Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Upsell menu items like wines, specialty cocktails, or desserts to maximize sales opportunities Process cash and card transactions accurately while handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to sanitation standards for food safety Collaborate with kitchen staff and host/hostess team to ensure seamless service flow and guest satisfaction Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables while providing attentive guest relations Assist with food preparation or food handling tasks as needed in support of the culinary team Support guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a positive dining atmosphere Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining experience preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management and organization skills Knowledge of wine, spirits, beverage service, and drink mixing techniques including cocktail experience Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Food safety certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire; understanding of sanitation standards essential Previous experience in serving, bussing, cashiering or host/hostess roles is advantageous Passion for hospitality with a focus on guest satisfaction and creating memorable experiences Join us today to be part of a lively team that celebrates great food, exceptional service, and vibrant energy!
