Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete before delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any questions or concerns regarding menu items. Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist in setting up for banquets or special events as required. Skills Proficiency in food handling practices and knowledge of food safety regulations. Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order tracking and communication. Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
