What You'll Bring To The Table A warm, confident, and naturally engaging approach to hospitality Fine-dining experience and a genuine enthusiasm for food, wine, cocktails, and memorable guest experiences The ability to read the table, anticipate needs, and deliver polished service with grace and efficiency Suggestive-selling savvy that feels helpful, personal, and never scripted A collaborative spirit and the willingness to jump in wherever needed to support the team and the guest Your Day Will Include Preparing and maintaining a clean, fully stocked, and properly set service station before, during, and after each shift Greeting every guest with warmth, professionalism, and a sincere welcome Presenting menu specials, promotions, and thoughtful recommendations with confidence and product knowledge Taking accurate food and beverage orders and entering them into the Toast point-of-sale system Coordinating with the kitchen and bar to ensure orders are accurate, timely, and beautifully delivered Serving food and beverages with appropriate condiments, attention to detail, and refined service standards Checking back often, refreshing beverages, anticipating requests, and offering dessert, coffee, and after-dinner selections Presenting checks promptly, processing payments accurately, and warmly inviting guests to return Following all State of Arizona, federal, and resort liquor regulations Supporting restaurant leadership and fellow team members in delivering an exceptional experience from first greeting to final farewell What You'll Need High school diploma or equivalent preferred Current Maricopa County Food Service Worker Card Current Arizona Title IV Alcohol Certification At least two years of high-volume fine-dining experience preferred Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, alcoholic beverage service, table settings, serviceware, and menu items The ability to learn, remember, describe, and enthusiastically promote a variety of menu offerings Comfort transporting large trays of beverages through a busy dining room or lounge Experience with beverage equipment and point-of-sale systems, including Toast Clear verbal and written English communication skills preferred Working Conditions Attendance as scheduled is a critical element in all positions at El Chorro.
