Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality, including cocktail preparation and wine service Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while offering personalized recommendations based on guest preferences Process cash, credit card transactions, and sales through POS systems efficiently and accurately, handling cash handling responsibilities responsibly Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols including proper food handling and sanitation practices Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly to foster guest relations and satisfaction Assist with opening and closing side work. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow team members. Qualifications Must be at least 19 years of age. Sunday and holiday availability required. Previous serving or restaurant experience is preferred but not required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry food trays. Must be available to work Sundays and holidays. Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one, if required).
