Swing 10am to 4pm OR 4pm to 8pm Job Overview As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. Your ability to manage time effectively and provide outstanding customer service will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide menu recommendations and upsell items to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through POS systems. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Ability to upsell menu items effectively based on guest preferences. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols within the culinary industry. Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is advantageous but not required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
