FOH Crew Member Job Responsibility The FOH Crew Member supports daily Front of House operations by providing excellent customer service and maintaining company operational standards. Team members are trained and may be assigned to Reception, Server, Runner, Pantry, or Busser duties based on business needs, training, and management direction. The key responsibilities are listed below; however, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.  Maintain professional and effective communication with guests, team members, and management  Support a positive, team-oriented, and productive work environment  Embody company policies, procedures, and operational standards  Warmly welcome guests, manage reservations and seating, and escort guests to their tables  Take orders, prepare, serve food and beverages, and provide attentive customer service  Accurately process guest orders and payments using the company's POS system  Deliver food and beverage promptly and accurately to the appropriate guests and tables  Monitor guests need and communicate special requests, allergies, dietary restrictions, and service concerns to the appropriate team members  Prepare, organize, and restock designated beverages, condiments, utensils, and other service items  Clear, clean, sanitize and reset tables promptly in accordance with company standards  Prepare and maintain workstations, equipment, and the service areas in accordance with company standards  Uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards throughout daily operations  Perform assigned opening duties, side work, and closing duties  Rotate among Reception, Server, Runner, Pantry, Busser, and any other duties based on business needs and management direction Skills and Qualifications The FOH Crew Member candidate should have the following skills and qualifications to fulfill the role:  Prior experience in a food service or customer service environment preferred  Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills  Ability to learn and accurately use the company's POS and reservation systems  Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment  Ability to work effectively as part of a team  Food safety training  Ability to adapt to changing operational needs  Demonstrated professionalism and reliability Experience Requirements The FOH Crew Member typically needs 1-2 years of experience in the food service industry, or customer service environment . This helps them understand how restaurants work and feel prepared for the unique challenges they may face. Education and Training Requirements There are no minimum educational requirements for the FOH Crew Member position. Certifications such as Food Handler, RBS, or other relevant certifications are preferred. Culinary arts education or related experience is considered a plus, as it may provide a deeper understanding of kitchen operations.
