Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining proper beverage service standards. Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash and credit card payments while balancing registers at shift end. Upsell menu items and suggest wine pairings or specialty drinks to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas, beverage stations, and dining spaces according to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly to uphold high customer service standards. Skills Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and sales processing. Strong knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures. Proven ability in wine knowledge, spirits experience, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest relations and loyalty. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs seamlessly. Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs is highly desirable.
