Overview We are a family-owned Afghan restaurant seeking a reliable and hardworking Restaurant Worker to support our kitchen operations. This role involves assisting the chef with daily food preparation and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, efficient, and eager to contribute to a welcoming dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Assist the chef with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks Wash, cut, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients required for menu items Help with the preparation of rice, sauces, appetizers, and other dishes as instructed Support in kebab and other food preparation activities under supervision Wash dishes and ensure the kitchen remains clean and organized throughout shifts Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils to uphold safety and hygiene standards Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills Reliable, hardworking, and punctual with a positive attitude Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as washing dishes and preparing ingredients This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a family-oriented restaurant environment while contributing to authentic Afghan cuisine.
