Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences by ensuring that all guests receive prompt, attentive, and friendly service. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner. Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of culinary quality are met. Requirements Previous experience in the hospitality or food industry is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. Familiarity with restaurant management systems such as Aloha POS or OpenTable is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
