Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Banquet Server and become the face of exceptional hospitality at our premier event venues. In this lively role, you will deliver outstanding guest service by providing seamless food and beverage service during banquets, weddings, conferences, and special events. Your energy and attention to detail will ensure every guest experiences a memorable occasion filled with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm. Duties Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, ensuring all tables, linens, glassware, and utensils are perfectly arranged. Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Assist with food handling, including serving hot and cold dishes, refilling beverages, and ensuring proper food safety protocols are followed. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing their needs promptly and professionally to enhance their experience. Clear tables efficiently after events, bussing dishes and resetting spaces for upcoming functions. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including wine pairings and beverage options, to offer recommendations when appropriate. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for beverage sales or guest transactions accurately and efficiently. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or catering environment is highly preferred; culinary or banquet experience is a plus. Strong guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper food service procedures. Ability to perform basic math calculations for bills, tips, and inventory counts. Familiarity with wine knowledge, beverage service, and fine dining etiquette enhances your ability to serve guests expertly. Experience with bussing tables, food preparation assistance, or working with POS systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills coupled with a positive attitude; ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings.
