Explain menu items and answer guest questions about seafood boils, sushi, sauces, spice levels, sides, and beverages. Help guests select seafood, sauces, spice levels, and menu combinations when requested. Be knowledgeable about current menu items, specials, pricing, and unavailable items. Ask appropriate questions regarding food allergies and communicate allergy concerns to the kitchen. Check identification when serving alcoholic beverages and follow all California alcohol-service requirements. Deliver food and beverages accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate professionally with kitchen, sushi bar, bartending, hosting, and management staff. Assist other team members during busy periods. Follow restaurant sanitation, food-safety, and workplace-safety procedures. Follow Asian Cajun service standards, uniform requirements, and restaurant policies. Perform other reasonable restaurant-related duties assigned by management. Requirements Must have a valid San Bernardino County Food Handler Card as required by law. Servers should work as a team rather than focusing only on their assigned tables. When another team member or guest needs reasonable assistance, employees are expected to help whenever possible.
