Job Description
Looking for a Food Expeditor CJ's Sports Grill & Turf Club looking for a Food Expeditor with a pleasing and attractive appearance who can show up on time everyday, with a smile. Someone who can work well under pressure and always stay professional and to help lead our great service team at lounge located in Lake Elsinore Food Expeditor Requirements include: 1 year minimum Food handling experience To communicate orders and information between wait staff and cooks Ensuring each dish is beautifully presented, garnished correctly and free from smudges or spills The last eyes to see final presentation Help run food to tables and or delegates servers to run food Food is cooked the way it was ordered Ensuring the whole tables order is done and goes out at the same time Orders are done in a timely fashion Explains special requests/orders to the cooks Lets wait staff side work to ensure it is done before their shift is over Monitors temperatures and sanitation Must have a great communication, organization skills and prompt Ensures that server station is clean and filled for next shift This is a basic job outline for our service staff but does not limit you in doing your job and it gives you the freedom of going beyond great service to outstanding service which will lead to an increase of your tips. The bottom line is your guests expect certain things when dinning out and they want great service if we want them to return. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. This would also include carrying trays, plate ware, bus tubs and other equipment related to your job that will require repeated actions in the course of your shift. Must be able to stay on your feet for your entire shift (excluding your breaks) while doing your job functions constantly bending, lifting, twisting, turning and many other movements related to this job. •Must be able to work all scheduled shifts 365/24/7 as well as any overtime or holiday hours. Required to read all tickets, menus and other material that is printed in to enhance our communication with our fellow workers and guests. You must be able to communicate verbally in English as well being able to read and write it. Must be on time and follow all written and verbal job instructions of the company as well as all state and federal guidelines related to your job. Being late, call outs or no shows more than three (3) times in a 12 month period could result in termination. Assist the other cooks and kitchen and service staff with anything needed or that pertains to what we do in our trade and daily job functions. Assist the service or culinary staff when needed and communicate any concerns to your manager.
