Duties Greet guests warmly and promptly, establishing a friendly rapport from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment Demonstrate knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures Support host/hostess duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations with OpenTable or similar systems Skills Be able to speak Spanish Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to boost sales and enhance guest satisfaction Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and quick calculations Previous experience with serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing preferred but not required Strong communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members in a lively environment
