Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Provide expert knowledge on menu items, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and food ingredients, to enhance guest experience Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card processing, while maintaining accuracy Upsell menu items such as premium beverages or specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances your ability to upsell effectively Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Experience with OpenTable reservations system or similar platforms is a plus Demonstrated commitment to food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for hospitality meets your desire to create unforgettable guest experiences.
