This role combines the art of exceptional customer service with efficient cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) system operation. You'll be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes orders, processes transactions, and ensures every visit is smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; assist with food handling and basic food preparation when needed Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS; previous cashiering experience preferred Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude; guest relations are your priority Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while multitasking between serving and cashier duties Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
