Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Server to join our team at a Japanese restaurant specializing in sushi and sashimi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining service and food presentation, with the ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role requires proficiency in POS systems, speed, and efficiency, especially given the fast-paced environment of our all-you-can-eat sushi service. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing top-tier service to our guests. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems efficiently. Serve food and drinks with professionalism and attention to detail, maintaining presentation standards typical of Japanese cuisine. Ensure timely delivery of orders, especially in our high-speed all-you-can-eat sushi setting. Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any needs or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, utensils, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Uphold hygiene standards and adhere to safety regulations at all times. Qualifications Prior experience working as a Server in a fine dining or Japanese restaurant setting is preferred. Experience with POS systems is required for efficient order processing. Must have experience serving in a fast-paced environment, particularly with sushi or sashimi service preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential. Ability to work quickly without compromising quality or customer service standards.
