This combined position helps ensure that food is delivered accurately and promptly, tables remain clean and organized, and guests receive attentive service throughout their visit. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with coworkers, and is willing to assist wherever needed. Responsibilities Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct tables quickly and accurately Confirm table numbers, seat numbers, orders, and special requests before serving food Communicate clearly with servers, kitchen staff, bartenders, and management Clear used plates, glassware, utensils, and other items QUICKLY from tables Clean, sanitize, and reset tables QUICKLY for incoming guests Refill water and assist servers with basic guest requests when needed Keep service stations stocked with utensils, napkins, glassware, plates, and other supplies Maintain clean and organized dining, service, and bussing areas Assist with setting up and breaking down dining rooms, banquets, concerts, and special events Handle dishes, glassware, and restaurant equipment carefully Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures Perform other reasonable duties related to food running, bussing, and guest service Qualifications Restaurant/similar experience is required. Preferred bilingual (Tagalog). Dependable, quick, punctual, and able to follow instructions Friendly, respectful, action-taker, and professional attitude Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to work efficiently during busy dining periods and special events Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, carry trays, and lift approximately 25-40 pounds, with reasonable accommodation when required Must have or obtain a valid California Food Handler Card within the required timeframe Must be available for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, banquets, and special events as needed About Isla Grand Isla Grand Restaurant, Bar & Banquet is a Filipino restaurant and entertainment venue in Pleasant Hill.
