Position Summary:

The Restaurant Server / Host is responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience for hotel guests in a fast-paced, full-service Marriott hotel environment. This position supports both front-of-house service and hosting responsibilities during breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar service, and in-room dining operations. Team members will work both AM and PM shifts and receive cross-training in multiple Food & Beverage outlets. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys guest interaction, thrives in a team environment, and is eager to learn all aspects of hotel restaurant operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

Welcome and seat guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Provide exceptional food and beverage service in accordance with Marriott standards. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system. Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal. Support in-room dining (room service) operations, including order taking, delivery, setup, and retrieval. Assist with restaurant opening, closing, and side work duties. Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, host stands, service stations, and work areas. Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and hotel departments to ensure seamless service. Promote Marriott Bonvoy enrollment opportunities when applicable. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards. Adapt to business needs and assist in other Food & Beverage outlets as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Ability to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Positive attitude with a passion for guest service.
