The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service, supervising staff, and maintaining efficient operations during their shift. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Duties Supervise and train team members to ensure high standards of customer service are met. Manage daily operations, including cash handling and maintaining the cash register. Assist customers with inquiries and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience. Conduct product demonstrations to promote new items and engage customers. Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized environment. Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock management. Communicate effectively with team members and management to address any operational issues that arise during the shift. Maintain phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries. Experience Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Experience in cash handling and operating a cash register is essential. Supervisory experience is a plus, with the ability to lead by example and motivate team members.
