Brasswood Banquet Event Server Job Description:

Brasswood Estate is looking for on-call servers to join our events team. If you have a positive, energetic personality and are passionate about fine wine, delicious food, and throwing a fabulous party, then look no further! We are interested in building an Events Team that will take our Estate to the next level.

Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet room as instructed by Event Production Manager/Event Coordinator. This may include linen set-up, tabletop equipment and glassware
• Able to understand, review and execute a BEO & Kitchen Sheet
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner
• Serve the food and/or beverage to the expectation of the Event Production Manager/Event Coordinator throughout the event. Includes tray passing, tableside food service, food buffet service and beverage service.
• Promptly bus dishes as guests complete each course meal, re-mark flatware, pour wine or other beverages, maintain table service
• Once event is complete, assist in the complete breakdown of space and reset if necessary

Qualifications:

• Must provide their own banquet uniform (black attire)
• Strong customer service skills
• Have an enthusiastic personality with high attention to detail and service
• Must be able to thrive independently as well as in a team environment
• Must have a minimum of 1
• 2 years of serving experience in banquet or fine dining restaurant
• Able to walk/stand for up to 8 hours
• 18 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
