In this energetic role, you will support the front-of-house team by maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment, efficiently delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guests receive prompt and friendly service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests while supporting the smooth operation of our wine bar. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a fast-paced, lively setting. Responsibilities Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages accurately and promptly using efficient food running techniques. Ensure all food handling and serving procedures adhere to food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining safe handling practices. Buss tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while ensuring proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including floors, counters, and dining spaces through regular cleaning routines. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs using clear verbal communication skills. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential! Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including lifting trays, boxes, or supplies up to a specified weight limit. Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders when necessary. Strong communication skills with an energetic attitude toward guest service and teamwork. Experience with banquet service or large event settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
