Ramen Kuu Ramen Kuu is a newly opened, busy restaurant in Downtown Visalia, and we are looking for an experienced restaurant server to join our team. We are looking for someone who is confident working in a fast-paced environment, provides excellent customer service, communicates well with both guests and coworkers, and can stay organized during busy lunch and dinner rushes. This is an all-inclusive server position. Our servers are expected to work as a team and assist with serving, bussing, and hosting duties as needed. We do not operate with a "that's not my job" mentality. Everyone helps keep the dining room running smoothly and provides guests with a great experience from the moment they walk in until they leave. What we're looking for: Previous restaurant serving experience required Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to handle a busy, fast-paced dining room Reliable, punctual, and professional Comfortable managing multiple tables at once Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Willingness to perform server, busser, and host responsibilities Available to work evenings and weekends Knowledge of ramen, Japanese food, sake, beer, or wine is a plus, but not required Responsibilities include: Greeting and seating guests when needed Managing the host stand and assisting with the waitlist Taking accurate food and beverage orders Learning the menu and helping guests with questions and recommendations Running food and beverages Pre-bussing and clearing tables throughout service Bussing, cleaning, and resetting tables for incoming guests Keeping the dining room, server stations, and guest areas clean and organized Processing payments accurately Assisting coworkers wherever needed during busy service Completing opening, closing, cleaning, stocking, and side-work duties Working closely with the kitchen and the rest of the front-of-house team We recently opened and are building a strong team for a busy Downtown Visalia restaurant. We are looking for experienced servers who are dependable, hardworking, flexible, and understand that great restaurant service requires teamwork.
