Joseph Sushi Bowls is seeking an experienced and motivated Line Server to join our team! Overview We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest experiences through excellent customer service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and a thorough knowledge of our menu offerings. Prior experience in food service, fine dining, or the food industry is highly valued, along with familiarity with POS systems, Clover highly desired. A passion for hospitality and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Upsell menu items including drinks and appetizers to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards Assist with food handling, sanitation, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations Provide knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and menu options Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Maintain cleanliness of service areas and adhere to sanitation standards at all times Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred Familiarity with POS systems, Clover is preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage guests effectively Knowledge of boba teas, smoothies, and beverage service techniques Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently Basic math skills for bill calculations and processing payments Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Punctual and dependable Responsible and reliable work ethic Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join our team to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences while developing your skills in a lively restaurant setting.
