Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of food and beverage options Take accurate orders using the Clover system, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are noted Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through friendly recommendations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all serving areas, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly to maximize guest satisfaction Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, especially in fine dining environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover is highly desirable Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation - bartending experience is a plus but teachable ! Customer service skills and creating welcoming atmospheres Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling practices.
