Wesley & Rose at Surf Hotel | Buena Vista, Colorado Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Wesley & Rose at the Surf Hotel is seeking experienced, professional Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. Our servers play an important role in creating a welcoming, knowledgeable, and memorable dining experience for our guests. We are looking for individuals who take pride in hospitality, communicate effectively, maintain strong attention to detail, and contribute positively to a team-oriented environment. Wesley & Rose offers a thoughtfully curated, seasonal food and beverage program featuring craft cocktails, an extensive wine selection, and an emphasis on quality ingredients. In addition to restaurant service, the Surf Hotel hosts weddings, concerts, private dinners, and special events throughout the year, providing opportunities to work across a dynamic hospitality program. Responsibilities Provide attentive, professional, and welcoming service throughout the guest experience Develop and maintain strong knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and current menu offerings Guide guests through menu selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations Accurately take orders and process payments using Toast POS Manage multiple tables while maintaining service standards and attention to detail Anticipate guest needs and maintain awareness of pacing and overall dining room flow Communicate effectively with culinary, bar, support, and management teams Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked service areas Complete opening, closing, and assigned side work Follow responsible alcohol service practices and established restaurant procedures Support fellow team members to ensure efficient and consistent service Assist with private events, weddings, concerts, and other Food & Beverage operations as needed Qualifications Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant preferred Strong understanding of professional hospitality and guest service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, punctual, and professional Ability to remain organized and composed in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and situational awareness Ability to take initiative and work independently when appropriate Collaborative and team-oriented approach to service Interest in developing knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and cocktails Evening, weekend, and holiday availability preferred TIPS certification is required ; candidates who are not currently certified must be willing to complete TIPS training as a condition of employment Benefits Eligible employees may have access to: 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Employee discount Flexible scheduling Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate understands that exceptional service requires both individual accountability and teamwork.
