Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front of House Support team member to create a welcoming and efficient environment for our guests. In this role, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth operations by providing exceptional customer service, assisting with food and beverage service, and maintaining a clean and organized space. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a positive experience for all visitors, whether they are dining in, attending events, or making reservations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements or reservations using platforms like OpenTable or similar systems Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as OpenTables and Toast Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and guest satisfaction Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic meal assembly, garnishing, or setup as needed under supervision Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, clearing dishes, washing utensils, and supporting kitchen staff with dishwashing duties Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly, following hygiene protocols, and managing dietary restrictions with care Support event setups such as banquets or catering functions by assisting with table arrangements and guest needs Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using cashiering tools while maintaining excellent phone etiquette for reservations or inquiries Ensure the dining area remains tidy, organized, and welcoming throughout service hours Qualifications Previous experience in host/hostess roles or food service environments is highly preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations confidently Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and proper sanitation practices Experience with restaurant technology platforms such as OpenTable and Toast POS. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and bending as needed for cleaning duties Demonstrated customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette Join our dynamic team where your enthusiasm fuels memorable guest experiences! Pay:
$16.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
