Must be able to explain Seafood dishes and proper wine and alcohol pairings Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverages with professionalism and flair, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards Upsell menu items including specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash accurately and maintaining proper cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations; bus tables as needed to ensure a tidy dining environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food safety standards are met and orders are prepared correctly Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently during busy hours Demonstrate excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Assist with food preparation or setup when necessary in a fast-paced restaurant or bar setting Experience Previous food service experience in restaurants, bars, or nightclubs is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and sales processing Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink presentation techniques Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations in the hospitality industry Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills in a high-volume environment Knowledge of the food industry trends and customer service best practices to enhance guest experiences Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Experience working in a hospitality setting such as restaurants or nightclubs that emphasizes guest relations and service excellence Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier service in a lively atmosphere!
