Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail mixing, wine pouring, spirits service, and beverage presentation in accordance with safety standards Upsell menu items including specialty drinks, desserts, or premium selections to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations by bussing and resetting tables promptly Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and give correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures Support food safety protocols by following sanitation guidelines during food handling and preparation activities Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address guest needs promptly Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns professionally to foster a welcoming environment Support other team members during busy hours by managing tasks such as food running or assisting with event setups like nightclub or special dining experiences Experience Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales transactions efficiently Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and maintaining food safety standards Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through effective time management skills during busy shifts Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing OpenTable familiarity is advantageous for reservation management but not required Join us if you're passionate about hospitality!
