Social is looking for energetic and dependable Food Runners to join our growing team. Food Runners are an essential part of our service team, helping connect the kitchen and front of house while ensuring every dish reaches the right guest quickly, accurately, and with care. We're looking for team members who move with purpose, communicate well, pay attention to the details, and are always willing to jump in where needed. This is also a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within the hospitality industry and develop into other front-of-house roles. Responsibilities Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately Verify dishes and table numbers before leaving the kitchen Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and managers Assist with explaining dishes and identifying items when delivering food Monitor tables and anticipate basic guest needs Assist with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables as needed Maintain clean and organized service stations and work areas Assist with restocking silverware, glassware, plates, and other service items Complete assigned opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant standards Support the service team wherever needed to keep service running smoothly Qualifications Previous restaurant experience as a food runner, busser, server assistant, or similar role preferred, but not required Friendly, professional, and guest-focused Strong communication and teamwork skills Able to move quickly while remaining organized and attentive Dependable and punctual Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment Ability to stand and move for extended periods and safely carry trays, plates, and restaurant supplies Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed Compensation & Tips Estimated total earnings: $20-$28 per hour, including 20% of pooled tips. KIN. Social operates with a pooled tip system , and eligible Food Runners participate in tips generated during service.
