Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card payments efficiently, handling cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, cocktail recipes, and food safety regulations to provide expert recommendations Clear tables, bus tables, and assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially fine dining or hospitality settings Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to engage guests effectively Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Good math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tables or tasks simultaneously Hospitality or serving experience including bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or cashiering is desirable Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Join us as a Server and be part of an exciting team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences!
