About the Position Our banquet team helps create memorable experiences for weddings, corporate meetings, holiday parties, celebrations, community events, and other special occasions hosted at Cambria Hotel Rehoboth Beach. On-Call Banquet Servers assist with event setup, food and beverage service, guest hospitality, and breakdown while providing the professional and welcoming service our guests expect. This is an on-call/as-needed position. Hours will vary depending on the hotel's event schedule and your availability. Responsibilities Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to banquet and event guests. Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, buffets, beverage stations, and other event needs. Serve plated meals, buffets, hors d'oeuvres, beverages, and other food and beverage items. Clear tables and maintain clean, organized event spaces throughout functions. Assist with resetting and breaking down banquet and meeting spaces following events. Work closely with banquet leadership, culinary staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to ensure smooth event execution. Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests. Follow all hotel food safety, alcohol service, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing Cambria Hotel Rehoboth Beach. Perform other banquet and event-related duties as needed.
