Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating cocktail experience and beverage knowledge. Upsell menu items and suggest wine pairings or specialty drinks to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Process cash and card transactions efficiently while handling cash handling responsibilities with accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food handling and food safety practices. Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly, fostering a welcoming environment for all patrons. Requirements Prior food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining exposure. Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and sales processing. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling duties. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
