Take food and drink orders accurately, process sales transactions efficiently, and handle cash or credit payments securely. Upsell menu items such as specialty cocktails or premium spirits to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning bar areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food handling and preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods. Provide outstanding guest service by addressing questions about drink ingredients, wine pairings, or food recommendations while fostering guest relations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings. Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently during peak hours. Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to boost sales while ensuring guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong guest relations capabilities.
