Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating assistance Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experiences Process cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper handling of sales and tips Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests Provide expert knowledge on menu offerings, including wine knowledge, cocktail recipes, and food safety protocols Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed to ensure smooth service flow Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction during their visit Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and sales processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities Familiarity with beverage service including spirits experience, cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, and drink presentation Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with serving in diverse settings such as casual restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightclubs is highly desirable Strong communication skills combined with a friendly attitude to foster guest relations and teamwork Join us if you're passionate about hospitality!
