PURPOSE:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Food server responsibilities include ensuring tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude, satisfaction and departmental GSS goals. Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order Attend to customers upon entrance Take and serve orders to guest Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages Responsible for learning breakfast/lunch/dinner menu items Server assigned to MAIN station is responsible for inventory from cabinets and coolers Complete requisition sheet as needed Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/ bar staff Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude Issue bills and accept payment

Work Experience Requirements:

Proven restaurant serving or waitering/waitressing experience Hands-on experience in cashier duties Attention to cleanliness and safety Patience and customer-oriented approach Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude Responsible and trustworthy Micros knowledge a plus Physical, Environmental Requirements and or Special Demands of the position: Able to work in a noisy, stressful environment Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hour shifts Able to move quickly in small area Able to bend and stoop frequently Able to walk/stand and lift/carry heavy trays over shoulder up to 35 lbs. Able to climb stairs often Must be able to walk quickly in a fast-paced, crowded environment

Pay:

$10.98 per hour
