Overview The Moon Under Water is seeking experienced Servers to join the opening team at our new Gulfport location. Servers will be responsible for providing knowledgeable, attentive service across a large, high-volume British pub with indoor dining, a courtyard, front terrace, two full-liquor bars, live entertainment, and sports programming. We are looking for people who understand hospitality, communicate well, stay organized during busy services, and take the time to learn the food and beverage program so they can confidently guide guests through their experience. As a Server, You Will Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming service throughout the guest experience Develop a strong working knowledge of our food, beer, wine, cocktail, spirits, and non-alcoholic offerings Accurately take orders, enter them through SpotOn POS, and process payments Manage multiple tables while maintaining service standards and awareness of guest needs Communicate clearly with bartenders, kitchen staff, hosts, bussers, and managers throughout service Follow proper steps of service and timing standards Handle guest questions, dietary concerns, special requests, and service issues professionally Complete opening, closing, and assigned side work Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked service areas Follow all food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and responsible alcohol service requirements Support high-volume services, private events, sports programming, and live entertainment Requirements Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant, pub, or comparable hospitality operation preferred High-volume experience is strongly preferred Strong communication and guest service skills The ability to learn and confidently discuss a broad food and beverage menu Comfortable managing multiple priorities during busy services Reliable attendance and punctuality Responsible alcohol service certification or the ability to obtain required certification Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry trays, dishes, and service items Compensation Competitive hourly pay + tips Employee discount Paid training EOE - We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status.
